After being blitzed by one American League West rival, the Texas Rangers will look to right the ship against another division foe on Friday. On the heels of being throttled to the tune of 21-8 by the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday, Texas will visit the Los Angeles Angels for a three-game set. The Rangers took two of three from the Angels on May 11-13.
Los Angeles saw its eight-game winning streak come to an end with a 6-5 loss to the New York Yankees on Wednesday. Mark Trumbo has been red hot, belting four homers in as many games. Trumbo is 4-for-10 with a homer in his career versus Texas starter Colby Lewis.
