As the top seed overall Donald will face the lowest-ranked player that qualifies for this event, to which only the top 64 golfers in the official world rankings are invited. Phil Mickelson and Paul Caseyare the only two players missing from the eligible field this week, which opened the door for South Africans George Coatzee and Ernie Els to compete at Dove Mountain.

Donald, who is listed at 14/1 odds to win this event as the top seed in the Bobby Jones bracket, will accordingly face Ernie Els (100/1) in his first match on Wednesday.

The other top seeds in the three remaining brackets include world No. 2 Rory McIlroy (11/1 odds) who will face George Coetzee (100/1) in the Gary Player bracket; world No. 3 Lee Westwood (18/1 odds) who will tangle with Nicolas Colsaerts (80/1) in the Sam Snead bracket; and world No. 4Martin Kaymer (22/1) who will play against Greg Chalmers (150/1) in the Ben Hogan bracket.

McIlroy and Tiger Woods are listed as the co-favorites ahead of Donald at 11/1 odds to win the WGC-Accenture Match Play title. Woods, who will take on Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano (150/1) in his opening match on Wednesday, is grouped in the competitive San Snead bracket along with Westwood, Webb Simpson (28/1), and Bill Haas (33/1). Haas is coming off a PGA Tour victory ingolf betting results last week at the Northern Trust Open.
