The Milwaukee Brewers likely will have to contend with Matt Kemp when they visit the Los Angeles Dodgers for the second game of their four-game series on Tuesday. Kemp, who has not played since May 13 due to a strained hamstring, completed a two-game rehab stint with Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday and is expected to be activated from the 15-day disabled list prior to Tuesday’s contest.
The Dodgers fell to 9-5 without Kemp with Monday’s 3-2 loss. The setback was just their third in 11 overall games and fourth in 18 at home. Milwaukee won for only the fourth time in 13 road contests as Aramis Ramirez belted a game-tying solo home run and added an RBI single that gave his team the lead for good. Ramirez had missed the Brewers’ previous two contests with a bruised left elbow.
